In 2023, Kiss Dave Outreach Foundation (KDOF) visited children at Gidem Bege Orphanage in Jos, Plateau State, as part of its commitment to supporting vulnerable children and creating meaningful moments of care and encouragement.
The outreach focused on providing free haircuts and grooming services to the children. While a haircut may seem like a simple gesture, for a child, looking neat and feeling well-groomed can contribute significantly to confidence, self-esteem and a sense of dignity.
During the visit, volunteers spent time with the children, offering more than grooming services. The outreach created an opportunity for connection, laughter and encouragement, reminding each child that they are valued, cared for and not forgotten.

At KDOF, we believe that every child deserves to feel confident, respected and loved, regardless of their circumstances. Our outreach activities are designed not only to provide immediate assistance but also to create positive experiences that can inspire hope and strengthen the children’s belief in their own potential.
The visit to Gidem Bege Orphanage is one of the many ways KDOF continues to demonstrate that small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. By bringing together volunteers, professionals and compassionate individuals, we can reach vulnerable communities and contribute to a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Making a Difference, One Smile at a Time
The 2023 Gidem Bege Orphanage outreach remains a reminder that impact does not always require something extraordinary. Sometimes, it begins with a haircut, a conversation, a smile or simply showing up for someone who needs to know they matter.
Kiss Dave Outreach Foundation remains committed to touching lives, restoring hope and building stronger communities—one outreach at a time.
